Spikeball is a small team sport that combines aspects of Volleyball and Four Square. A trampoline-like net is placed between the teams and players hit the ball, bouncing it on the net, to their opponents, who then, must return the ball back by again, bouncing it on the net.

Teams: 2 players per team, 4 people in total
How to Play:
-
There are no boundaries. So, if the ball goes far, it still is considered in bounds.
-
At the start of the game, the players need to stand around the net, and the players that are on the same team will stand close to each other. Players need to always be standing across from the net, across from their opponents, when the ball is served.
-
The game starts with one player serving the ball. When the ball is served, it MUST land on the net and bounce off. The players on the opposing team then have three chances to hit the ball back in play, into the net, and bounce the ball back to the opposing team.
-
Players are only allowed to hit the ball with ONE (1) hand. The ball is allowed to be hit, bumped, or punched.
-
The ball can be tapped to other players, but the teams only have a total of three (3) hits to get the ball to the other team.
-
The game continues until the ball either goes out of play, or the ball bounces twice on the net.
-
Players are not allowed to carry the ball (hits the ground or rim of the net) or to hit the ball twice. This will cause the opposing team to gain a point.
-
If a team loses a point, the serve goes to the opposing team (similar to volleyball).
-
Game play continues until one team reaches 21 points, however, similar to volleyball, the team can only win if they are in the lead by two (2) or more points.
-
Points are awarded when the ball hits the ground, a player hits it twice in a row or the ball hits the outer rim of the net.
